Job Title: Senior Staff Finance Business Systems Analyst

Archer is a leading aerospace company based in San Jose, California, dedicated to advancing the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join our IT Applications organization. As a Senior Staff Finance Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting all SAP FI/CO modules and peripheral application activities. Your primary focus will be on Record to Report (RTR) activities, where you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all RTR-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of RTR projects from discovery to deployment and support.
  • Analyze complex business problems/processes and translate business requirements into workable application solutions.
  • Partner with and provide guidance to business teams, acting as the translator between Finance and IT teams to ensure business requirements are communicated properly.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, recommend process improvements, redesign, and automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate project progress and ensure integrated solution design and implementation.
  • Provide operational support to finance teams, including business as usual and period-end closing.
  • Facilitate the financial close (monthly and quarterly) and consolidation activities, ensuring they are completed timely and in accordance with corporate timelines, guidelines, and policies.
  • Support financial controller in GAAP & local statutory reporting fillings.
  • Define and execute compliance requirements related to SOX Audits & other internal/external audit requirements.
  • Conduct financial controls testing and document results.
  • Support external reporting and regulatory processes, such as Tax Reporting.
  • Manage bank & other finance-related external system interfaces.
  • Develop project-related documentation for GAP analysis, functional design documents, functional specifications for development activities, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
  • Develop and execute functional end-to-end test scripts and perform unit testing, integration, and regression testing, including build test cases, executing tests, and making changes to configuration and/or processes as needed.
  • Train the end-user community in the conversion and implementation of new processes.
  • Collaborate with Application Managed Services provider support team to quickly resolve critical operational issues that impact business functions.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience designing and configuring SAP ERP Finance and Controlling solutions, ideally with S4HANA.
  • Should be part of 2+ SAP implementations in the Record to Report from Blueprint to Go-Live.
  • Should have 10+ years of experience in SAP systems.
  • B.S. with Finance major or CPA.
  • Ability to be detailed in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Aerospace industry experience.
  • Experience implementing SAP Group Reporting.
  • Experience deploying SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solutions.

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company's business strategy. For this position, we are targeting a base pay between $163,200 - $204,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
