Job Summary:The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and establishing treatment plans for patients referred to Occupational Therapy. This will include maintaining productivity levels, evaluating and establishing treatment plans, and remaining competent in areas such as evaluation skills, therapeutic exercise, and ADL training.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate and establish treatment plans for patients referred to Occupational Therapy
- Maintain productivity levels at department targets
- Remain competent in areas such as evaluation skills, therapeutic exercise, and ADL training
- Attend and provide continuing education in-servicing
- Serve as mentor for new employees or volunteers
- Complete documentation according to all regulations and in a timely manner
- Must have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Must hold a current state License based on facility location
- Must be certified in CPR
- Must demonstrate competency in assessment and treatment of areas such as neonates/infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
