We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Perform mammography exams using state-of-the-art equipment, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety by explaining procedures, positioning patients correctly, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Maintain accurate records, including patient information, exam results, and quality control data.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest mammography techniques and technologies.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Current ARRT registration in mammography and radiography.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in mammography, preferably in a hospital or imaging center setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
