Delightful Deli Assistant Manager Opportunity

At Kessler's Inc., we're seeking a talented Deli Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Deli Department, you'll play a vital role in leading our team members and overseeing the department in the absence of the department manager. We encourage our managers to take ownership and have a 'treat it like you own it' mentality when making balanced decisions between driving sales and managing costs to achieve long-term sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Grow Department Sales: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and drive revenue growth.
  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide fast and friendly service to our customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
  • Quality Products: Ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and freshness.
  • Safe and Clean Store Environment: Maintain a clean and safe store environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Order Management: Manage and submit product orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Department Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of all aspects of the department, including inventory processes and station operations.
Requirements:
  • Management Experience: A minimum of one year of management experience is preferred.
  • Restaurant, Retail, or Guest Service Experience: 2+ years of experience in a related field, or a combination of experience and education.
  • Sales Building, Recruiting, and Training: Experience in building sales, recruiting, and training is highly desirable.
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this position include seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, and moving intermittently during working hours. Working in colder environments may be required on occasion. These physical demands may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
