Specialty Clinic Nurse Endocrinology

The Specialty Care Services Staff Nurse is a professional nurse who assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for patients and families in their area. This role requires a strong understanding of pediatric endocrinology and the ability to provide high-quality care to patients with complex medical needs.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to patients and families.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Associate degree or diploma with at least one year of recent nursing experience, preferably in pediatrics and outpatient settings.
- OR BSN or MSN with a minimum of 6 months experience, preferably in pediatrics and outpatient settings.
- Current RN license in the State of Alabama.
- Current BLS certification.
