This is a field service position that requires strong mechanical skills, good communication skills, and safe work habits. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective repair of machine components in the field, at high levels of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recondition and repair equipment and components
  • Plan methods and sequence of performing repairs assigned
  • Pre-order all parts and materials required to perform assigned repairs
  • Effect the repairs in a safe and effective manner
  • Maintain the work area in a clean and safe condition
  • Maintain good working records for time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases in repairs
  • Report all record keeping daily from the field, even when not returning daily to the company
  • Maintain shop tools, equipment and vehicles
  • Maintain personal appearance in a professional and neat condition
  • Perform inspections required to determine cause of failure is done following established guidelines and are completed with the cause identified
Requirements
  • Strong potential to develop good mechanical skills, good communication skills, and safe work habits
  • Be able to work independent of direct supervision in a field environment
  • Contribution to spirit of teamwork and cooperation through the branch location, specifically with parts personnel and other service technicians
  • Spanish speaking valued
  • A technical school or equivalent experience in mechanical repairs is preferred, but not required
  • Valid driver's license; clean MVR
