Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors, following approved procedures.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards, ensuring a high standard of overall appearance.
  • Deep clean key areas, including bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways.
  • Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly, notifying supervisors of supply needs.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning, taking initiative to complete tasks.
  • Perform tasks assigned by supervisors, adhering to federal, state, and local guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding products and resolving issues.
Preferred Qualifications

Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Work Environment

Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, and carrying. Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment. Work in a public retail store setting, with climate-controlled areas and some outdoor work. Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.
