Head of Testing Operations

The University of Alaska System is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Head of Testing Operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration of testing services across our system, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of exams and assessments to our students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of testing services, including exam scheduling, proctoring, and assessment administration.
- Manage a team of proctors and student assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of testing services.
- Collaborate with national testing vendors to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Analyze exam trends to enhance student access and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare reports and provide data-driven insights to inform testing and assessment strategies.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a standardized testing environment or equivalent.
- Strong management and project oversight skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of testing and assessment principles, including exam development, administration, and scoring.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
