Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Unit Team Leader to join our team at Block Advisors. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of associates, delivering exceptional client experiences, and driving business growth across multiple offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices, working closely with Associate Team Leaders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Build a high-performing team environment by training, coaching, and recognizing outstanding associate contributions, while holding them accountable to Service Standards.
  • Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement.
  • Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions, and conduct timely performance reviews to ensure associate success.
  • Lead daily team meetings, communicate essential information to tax office associates, and create associate work schedules across all offices.
  • Travel between offices as required, and may prepare up to 75 tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.

Requirements:

  • People management experience, with a proven track record of growing and developing associates.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for growth plan execution and ability to lead towards a growth culture.
  • Strong decision-making and judgment skills, with the ability to function well in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric mindset that seeks to understand and exceed client needs.
  • Computer proficiency with the ability to use MS Office, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of experience.
