About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Rehosting Expert to join our team at ApTask. In this role, you will be responsible for leading complex rehosting projects and advising clients on technical and architectural aspects of system development and integration.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop comprehensive solutions that meet their requirements. Your expertise in mainframe technology, including CICS/IMS-DC, COBOL, Assembler, and PL/1, will be essential in guiding the transformation process and ensuring seamless execution.

You will also play a crucial role in designing and implementing target state architectures, translating business requirements into technical specifications, and collaborating with various technical teams to deliver comprehensive designs that meet customer expectations.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will be expected to possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead a team of consultants in modernization/transformation assessments and handhold project teams through the rehosting process.
