About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Services team at Rock Regional Hospital. As a Cath Lab RN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our cardiologists during complex procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients and assist cardiologists during procedures such as diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, stent placement, and cardioversion.
  • Perform or assist with various skills, including starting and discontinuing peripheral IVs, inserting and discontinuing NG tubes, and managing invasive lines.
  • Titrate medications, perform point-of-care testing, and provide pain management as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient lab operations.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
  • 1-3 years' clinical experience, preferably in critical care or cath lab settings.
  • Current Kansas State Nursing License and BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Clinical competency in basic cardiac physiology/pathology, 12-Lead EKG interpretation, and physiologic monitoring.
Preferred Requirements
  • 1-3 years' experience in critical care or cath lab settings.
