Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cath Lab RN to join our team at Rock Regional Hospital. As a Cath Lab RN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting with complex cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor patients and assist cardiologists during procedures such as diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, stent placement, cardioversion, and other cardiac interventions.
  • Perform or assist with various skills, including starting and discontinuing peripheral IVs, inserting and discontinuing NG tubes, airway management, and aspirating blood samples from central lines.
  • Manage pain, perform phlebotomy, temporary pacing, 12-lead EKG, invasive line management, and monitoring, titration of medications, point of care testing, defibrillation, and cardioversion.
  • Insert, irrigate, and DC male and female Foley catheters, and use IV pumps, wall suctions, cardiac monitoring, crash carts, MedRad injectors, ACIST contrast management systems, Ambu bags, EMR, patient transfer devices, point of care testing, and PYXIS medication carts.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an approved school of nursing.
  • 1-3 years' clinical experience required.
  • Current Kansas State Nursing License.
  • BLS and ACLS certification.
Preferred Requirements
  • 1-3 years critical care or cath lab experience.
Additional Information

This part-time position will consistently be scheduled 20 hours per week.
