Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist members with finding products and answering questions about produce
  • Inspect, rotate, and store produce upon delivery to ensure quality and freshness
  • Rotate produce on the sales floor to ensure optimal freshness and variety
  • Maintain the produce reserve stock area, including dating and rotating back stock items
  • Follow established guidelines for disposing of damaged, spoiled, and/or expired products
  • Assist with inventory and order processing as needed
  • Clean and sanitize all produce equipment, display fixtures, and areas
  • Generate signage for produce goods and perform price check functions when necessary


Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Work experience in a produce department preferred
  • Knowledge of fruit and vegetables preferred, including seasonal items
