INTEGRIS Health is looking for a skilled CT Technologist to join our team.
Position OverviewThe CT Technologist plays a crucial role in our Diagnostic Radiology department, ensuring high-quality imaging services for our patients. This position involves performing a variety of CT examinations, including imaging and interventional procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct all CT imaging procedures while adhering to safety protocols.
- Operate computed tomography equipment and perform technical procedures with precision.
- Position and transfer patients safely and efficiently, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Administer radiographic contrast as per physician directives and departmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with the CT Lead Technologist and Radiology Manager to maintain high standards of care.
- Engage in equipment calibration and quality control to ensure optimal performance.
- Evaluate the need for radiologist consultation regarding contrast media administration.
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Computed Tomography certification required within the first year of employment.
- CPR certification is mandatory within the first 90 days of employment.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
This role may involve exposure to various conditions, including:
- Radiation and chemical fumes from processing equipment.
- Patients with contagious diseases.
- Potential physical demands and respiratory fit test requirements.
