Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team at Machinery Power & Equipment Co. As a Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting heavy equipment to and from customer sites to our rental yards. Our drivers will be provided with training and guidance on the safe use of the equipment they are loading and unloading. Required to operate delivery vehicles in compliance with company and DOT guidelines, rules, and regulations. Previous experience in heavy equipment delivery in the rental industry is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare equipment for transport
* Secure loads for safe transportation
* Safely transport equipment to and from customer sites to our rental yards
* Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with company and DOT guidelines, rules, and regulations
* Perform light repairs as necessary
Requirements:
* High School or G.E.D. required
* Two years driving experience or completion of a truck driver training school
* Dependable, responsible, and committed to safe operation of vehicle and timely pickup and delivery of equipment
* No preventable accidents, license suspensions, alcohol-related violations, or other moving violations in the past 3 years
* CDL Class A required
* Understanding of basic maintenance concepts
* Knowledge of all applicable DOT rules and regulations, and all job-related company, local, and state and federal requirements
