Full Time Tuesday-Saturday Days (7am-4:30pm)
The Facility Sanitation Specialist is responsible for ensuring a clean, sanitary, and safe environment throughout the facility, adhering to our quality standards as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Stock, clean, organize, and break down assigned carts daily.
2. Retrieve and return task assignment sheets on a daily basis.
3. Maintain cleanliness of all assigned public areas to established standards.
4. Remove soiled linens and trash, replace liners, and place items in designated areas.
5. Dust all necessary areas in both occupied and unoccupied units.
6. Thoroughly clean all bathrooms and replenish supplies such as tissue, soap, and paper towels.
7. Discharge and clean all required bed areas to standard.
8. Replenish amenities for new admissions, including towels and toiletries.
9. Identify and report maintenance issues in units and public areas.
10. Perform deep cleaning of units as assigned.
11. Complete daily cleaning in offices, therapy rooms, group rooms, nurse stations, lobbies, stairwells, corridors, and public restrooms.
12. Report any carpets that require shampooing.
13. Wash, dry, and fold all linens.
14. Keep the housekeeping supply room organized and tidy.
15. Collect and return cups, glasses, and other dinnerware left in common areas to the kitchen.
16. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager within the recognized scope of the position.
17. Receive and store supplies.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
2 years of experience in hospitality or cleaning services related to the maintenance and cleanliness of interior spaces.
Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively in various situations; listen and seek clarification; respond effectively to questions; demonstrate group presentation skills; and participate in meetings.
Familiarity with Google Office products is a plus, and comfort with computers is required.Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.
