Job Summary:

Charter Schools USA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Night Custodian to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our schools are well-maintained and free from hazards.

Responsibilities:

* Clean and sanitize assigned areas, including hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, and common areas.
* Empty trash and recyclables from all receptacles and replace liners as needed.
* Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), windowsills, and air vents.
* Clean and sterilize restroom facilities, including sinks, toilets, and showers.
* Respond to and clean up bodily messes, including vomit, feces, urine, and blood, in accordance with training and protocols.
* Assist with cleaning cafeteria tables and floors, and remove waste from the cafeteria.
* Sterilize high-use areas to reduce the spread of bacteria and other harmful agents.
* Assist the Head Custodian with cleaning projects and tasks as needed.

Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Minimum 1 year of janitorial experience preferred.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and protocols.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
