Hospice Aide/CNA Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Hospice Aide/CNA to provide high-quality care to our patients in their homes. As a Hospice Aide/CNA, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care and support to individuals with serious illnesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with prescribed therapeutic exercises and provide basic housekeeping services to maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Document patient care and progress in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
  • Completion of a certified nursing assistant course or equivalent training required.
  • One (1) year previous home health/hospice experience required as a nurse's aide, hospice aide, orderly, or related experience in an acute, rehabilitative, or long term care facility, or hospice organization or private home care aide.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
