Job Title: Radiology Technologist II Acute

This role offers a competitive salary of $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist II to join our team in the acute setting. The successful candidate will work independently and/or assist physicians/APCs in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using x-ray equipment to obtain high-quality images.

The technologist will be responsible for performing inpatient and outpatient procedures, emergency room imaging, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and operating room procedures. A strong understanding of radiation safety laws and principles of ALARA is essential for this role.

To succeed in this position, you will have a minimum of one year of experience in diagnostic radiology and hold current ARRT certification in Radiography (RT(R)). A Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or a related field is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Assist physicians/APCs in performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, including intraoperative and mobile procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to Novant Health's quality and patient safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography (RT(R)).
  • A minimum of one year of experience in diagnostic radiology.
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences or a related field (preferred).
