Job Description

At Novant Health, we are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our dynamic team in the acute setting. This role involves working independently and/or assisting physicians/APCs in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing patients and operating x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images. This includes performing inpatient and outpatient procedures, emergency room imaging, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and operating room imaging.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and operate x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images
  • Perform inpatient and outpatient procedures, emergency room imaging, fluoroscopy, portable imaging, and operating room imaging
  • Work independently and/or assist physicians/APCs in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures

Qualifications:

  • Education: 2-Year/Associate Degree preferred, ARRT-approved Radiography Program graduate
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred
  • Licensure/Certification: ARRT certification in Radiography - RT(R), applicable state licensure
