Position Overview:

  • Oversee and troubleshoot the vSphere environment with precision
  • Engage with hardware suppliers to ensure effective break-fix solutions
  • Expertly manage and resolve issues related to Cisco UCS and/or Dell hardware
  • Leverage your knowledge in VMware vSphere (versions 6.7, 7, 8), Cisco UCS, PowerShell/PowerCLI, ServiceNow, and vRealize/Aria Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute infrastructure upgrade initiatives for vSphere 8
  • Collaborate with various teams to sustain infrastructure integrity
  • Proactively assess situations to mitigate potential issues
  • Enhance infrastructure associated with VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, and Dell
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting and root cause investigations
  • Engage in process evaluations and enhancements
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation

Required Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive experience in virtualization and hardware troubleshooting
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in configuring and resolving issues with VMware vSphere, Cisco UCS, and Dell hardware
  • Strong programming and automation capabilities, particularly in PowerShell
  • VMware VCP-DCV certification is advantageous
