  • Develop Personalized Plans: Create individualized plans to address patients' specific needs, setting realistic goals and objectives.
  • Administer Effective Therapy: Utilize specialized techniques and equipment to administer speech therapy programs, promoting patient progress and improvement.
  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with referring physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, adhering to office policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay Current with Industry Developments: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a master's degree from an accredited program in speech-language pathology, including an internship.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence: Hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology, granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • State Licensure: Be licensed to practice speech-language pathology in the state where the position is located.
  • Minimum of One Year of Experience: Possess a minimum of one year of clinical experience in speech-language pathology.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational abilities.
