Pricing Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pricing Analyst to join our FP&A Department at D and H Distributing Co. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and profitability by analyzing and optimizing our pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers to conduct routine account audits and identify opportunities for pricing improvements.
  • Conduct regular product code, vendor, and vendor/product code pricing audits to ensure price concessions align with revenue expectations.
  • Review SKU mix in product codes to ensure correct assignment and maximize pricing scheme effectiveness.
  • Quarterly review of buying groups to ensure dealers are aligned with the best segment for their business.
  • Pull reports from various D and H applications and create new reports from various sources.
  • Support Business Unit (BU) by serving as a trusted advisor in maximizing pricing opportunities to drive revenue and profit.
  • Maintain pricing programs and agreements in the pricing systems.
  • Create and analyze analytics dashboards for sales, vendor, or purchasing teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Economics.
  • 1-3 years of office experience.
  • 3+ years of previous pricing or analytical experience preferred.
  • Tableau experience preferred.
