Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee and manage our warehouse operations at Our Home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfillment, receiving, and shipping.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Warehouse Operations: Supervise and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping across varying shifts.
  • Inventory Control: Ensure accurate inventory control and manage inventory levels to meet customer demands.
  • Policies and Procedures: Implement and enforce warehouse policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Team Management: Train and develop warehouse staff, providing coaching and guidance to enhance performance and productivity.
  • Process Improvement: Monitor warehouse operations and implement process improvements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure seamless operations and timely order fulfillment.
  • Compliance: Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Technology: Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and manage inventory, orders, and shipments.
  • Reporting: Prepare and analyze reports related to warehouse performance, inventory levels, and order fulfillment.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective services.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes. Experience in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
