Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by physicians, adhering to established standards and practices.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory systems and develop effective treatment plans.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory therapy techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Associate degree from a respiratory therapy education program supported by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Current RCP license in California.
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • One year of previous experience in acute care hospital respiratory care, critical care, and neonatal exposure highly desirable.
  • MAB certification required within 60 days of hire and annually thereafter.
