The J.R. Simplot Company is a leading global food and agriculture company seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the management and disposition of non-productive inventory. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and analyze non-productive inventory, including damaged, aging, and expired products
  • Develop and implement processes to reduce distribution shrink expenses
  • Work cross-functionally with QA, Deployment, Customer Service, Sales, and 3rd party warehouses to manage inventory disposition
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for inventory management and logistics
  • Manage relationships with contracted 3PL warehouses
  • Assist in establishing and managing relationships with 3PL warehouse partners
  • Review and enhance Company Warehouse SOPs
  • Manage operational and process support involving finished product movement through 3PL warehouses
  • Point person to resolve 3PL warehouse immediate needs
  • Support food safety requirement adherence in the warehousing of finished products
  • Work cross-functionally with transportation, production planning, purchasing, and sales/marketing to create product supply plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a 4-year college or university
  • 5+ years related experience and/or training
