Job Summary

The Field Service Technician is a critical role within Kadant Solutions, responsible for providing maintenance, installation, start-up, and troubleshooting of our products. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide maintenance, installation, start-up, and troubleshooting of Kadant Solutions products
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Accurately document and report on service activities
  • Assist in the promotion and sales of Kadant Solutions products
  • Work closely with the District Sales Manager to achieve sales and revenue goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
