Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct tests on electrical systems and continuity to ensure safe and proper operation of wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Install, maintain, and repair various electrical systems, including switchgear, motor controls, electrical panels, CT cabinets, conveyor systems, lighting, data networks, and power supplies.
  • Complete necessary documentation such as work orders and timecards.
  • Inspect systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustments or repairs, ensuring compliance with electrical codes.
  • Troubleshoot electrical components, wiring diagrams, transformers, motors, panels, and circuits.
  • Diagnose malfunctioning systems or components using test equipment and hand tools to identify and rectify issues.
  • Be available for after-hours work and on-call duties as scheduled.
  • Perform thorough and accurate electrical inspections and effectively communicate findings to customers and Service Operations.
  • Support operational policies, procedures, and system operations across a diverse range of responsibilities.
  • Travel may be required for certain tasks.
  • Engage in physically demanding activities, including trenching, lifting heavy objects, and navigating confined spaces.
  • Exhibit professionalism, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
  • Possess foreman-level job running capabilities for small or special projects.

Qualifications:
  • Must hold a valid Electrician License.
  • Apprentices should have a minimum of 2 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade.
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Professional appearance and effective communication abilities.
  • Physical capability to lift heavy objects as necessary.
  • Proficiency in navigating tablet-based technology.
  • Team-oriented individual who can also work independently.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test.
  • Valid and current driver's license is required.
  • Must meet criteria to operate a company vehicle.
