Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Service NPI Engineer to join our team at Tesla.

This role will support our mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy by improving systems and parts required to service Tesla's Energy Products.

  • The Sr. Service NPI Engineer will be responsible for rapidly solving some of Tesla's most challenging problems while collaborating across departments.
  • The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with design engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or New Product Introduction in a high-volume product environment.
Responsibilities

The Sr. Service NPI Engineer will:

  • Proactively solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Risk manage and make decisions with limited information.
  • Innovate and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in design engineering, industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or New Product Introduction.
  • Familiarity with CAD programs and PDM systems.
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience with project management tools.
