About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to join our team at Verista. As a key member of our automation group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems that support our life sciences clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support staff and on-site resources with automation-related activities
  • Setup and troubleshoot automation systems, including MES and PCS
  • Configure and test printers, scales, and barcode scanners
  • Participate in the development and evaluation of RFPs and bidder/vendor analysis
  • Work with project controls to prepare and update project status, schedule, resource, and cost reports
  • Identify and oversee system integrations
  • Coordinate and support engineering and automation design, commissioning, qualification, and QA/Validation groups
  • Proactively look for and recommend improvements in site processes and procedures
  • Represent the Capital Project Automation group with good communication and presentation skills
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience with Syncade and MES
  • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced collaborative team environment
  • Skilled at solving multi-dimensional problems with both quantitative and qualitative variables
  • Ability to lead and influence others in support of company objectives
  • Excellent decision-making and cross-functional team building skills
  • Solid understanding of GMP, GLP, and non-GMP project requirements
