Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer to join our team at Comcast Corporation. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting our high-quality, innovative video advertising platform. This is a virtually based position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the world.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and test software components to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to ensure that all team members have access to the necessary information.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure that the code meets the required standards and best practices.
  • Identify and report any technical issues or bugs to the relevant teams and stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • 7-10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on C/C++ programming languages.
  • Experience with large-scale system development, distributed systems, and network programming.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, agile methodologies, and version control systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
