About This Role

Capital One is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer, Back End to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, and implement technical solutions
  • Share knowledge and expertise with team members to drive innovation and improvement
  • Work with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for our customers
  • Utilize programming languages like Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services, and AWS tools and services

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or another cloud service
  • 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices
