Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring proper training and supervision of all personnel in the restaurant department. This includes delivering prompt, courteous service in a manner that complies with Omni Food and Beverage standards and company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overall supervision of the department, ensuring seamless operations and excellent guest service.
- Oversee the bar area, ensuring efficient service and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Complete environmental checklists for the dining room, ensuring a clean and safe environment for guests.
- Spot check liquor pars and order daily supplies, maintaining accurate inventory and minimizing waste.
- Hold pre-meal meetings and monthly department meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
- Follow up on established training steps, ensuring all staff members are properly trained and equipped to provide excellent service.
- Handle guest comments and complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving issues promptly.
- Communicate with guests and receive feedback, using this information to improve service and operations.
- Stay on the floor during peak hours, ensuring excellent guest service and maintaining a high level of quality.
- Observe, teach, and correct staff's service, ensuring consistency and excellence in all aspects of service.
- Examine food preparation and beverage presentation, ensuring high-quality products and presentation.
- Maintain the condition of the dining room, lobby lounge, morsels, mini bar, and room service, ensuring a clean and inviting environment for guests.
- Assist the manager in scheduling, completing weekly payroll, and forecasting both weekly and monthly, ensuring accurate and timely financial management.
- Participate in interviewing new employees as needed, ensuring the best candidates are selected for the team.
- Prepare maintenance requests and follow up, ensuring prompt and effective maintenance of facilities and equipment.
- Monitor food and liquor requisitions and food waste, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
- Check bar controls, shot glass use, red lining, and bottles totally empty daily, ensuring accurate inventory and minimizing waste.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in Food and Beverage Supervision or Management role preferred.
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Understanding of Food and Beverage financials, including cost and par controls.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Familiarity with and adherence to all liquor liability laws.
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and ability to work to prevent accidents.
- TIPS Certification.
