About the Role

HonorHealth is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Preoperative and Post-Anesthesia Care (Pacu) department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients from the preoperative to the post-anesthesia phase.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' medical history and symptoms, and develop individualized care plans to meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to care.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and well-being.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing, with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required within 60 months of hire date or 10 years of RN experience.
  • Current Arizona State RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • 1 year of RN experience in a Pacu or preoperative setting.
