Overview

HonorHealth is a leading healthcare system in Arizona, seeking a skilled RN Preop/Pacu Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care in the preoperative and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) settings.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and operate medical equipment as needed.
  • Teach patients and their families about disease management, medication administration, and post-treatment care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
  • 1 year of RN experience in a preoperative or PACU setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
