About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Registered Behavior Technician to join our team in supporting students with behavioral needs in a school setting. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing behavioral support to students in grades pre-K to high school.

Job Description

This role involves working closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to provide tailored behavioral support. You will work either one-on-one with students or as a general classroom aide, depending on the needs of the students and the school.

  • One-on-One Support: You will accompany each student to their classes and provide behavioral and educational support throughout the day.
  • General Classroom Support: You will work with a single teacher or classroom, providing support where needed most by the teacher.

Responsibilities
  • Providing behavioral support to students in grades pre-K to high school.
  • Calmly and effectively communicating with both children and adults.
  • Standing, walking, and sitting for long periods of time.
  • Frequently bending, crouching, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
Qualifications
  • At least instructionally eligible.
  • Experience in childcare and/or Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting preferred.
