Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Crane Service Technician to join our team at Shannahan Crane & Hoist. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our overhead cranes and hoists.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain overhead cranes and hoists to ensure compliance with manufacturer, OSHA, and ANSI standards
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities
  • Support customers with effective communication and repair services
  • Evaluate and recommend required repairs

Requirements:

  • Good mechanical and electrical skills
  • Minimum one to five years of experience with similar equipment in a manufacturing environment
  • Machining and welding skills are a plus
  • Current driver's license and safe driving record required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Work Environment:

  • Work in various environments and conditions
  • Occasional overtime and out-of-town work required
  • Work at heights and some heavy lifting required
