About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Recreational Sports team as a Sport Club Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the development of our sport club program.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage the university's sport club program, including 30+ competitive teams with over 1,400 student athletes.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote student development and engagement in recreational sports.
- Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Sports Clubs to achieve program goals and objectives.
- Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective program delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to students, staff, and alumni.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Business, or closely related field.
- Prior experience working in a recreational or athletic administrative setting or closely related field.
- Demonstrated passion for student development and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to establish and maintain successful relationships with a diverse population.
- Considerable experience using computer software systems, including word processing, spreadsheet preparation, and database entry and maintenance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Sports Management, Higher Education, Recreation, or related field.
- Prior work experience within collegiate sport or recreation.
- Experience advising students in a higher education setting.
- Experience supervising full or part-time employees.
