Job Title: Logistics Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Network Engineer to join our team at LMI Consulting, LLC. As a Logistics Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our DOD program by planning and implementing operational network services and systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Document efficient data transportation methods for structured and unstructured logistics sustainment data
  • Develop an approach to enable DoD organizations to upload, search, and access relevant supply chain and maintenance data
  • Provide technical support and solutioning to government data requirements
  • Plan and design implementation of operational network and associated equipment
  • Document system requirements and network protocols
  • Develop documentation for network infrastructure contingency and recovery plans
  • Establish a comprehensive routing schema
  • Implement and maintain established network security practices
  • Configure and optimize network hubs, routers, and switches
  • Interact professionally with clients and internal teams
Requirements:
  • Active Secret clearance
  • 5+ years of network administration experience
  • 5+ years of experience with DoD systems
  • Experience with network protocols and security methodologies
  • Knowledge of risk management processes and cybersecurity principles
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and create solutions
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
