Job Title: Logistics Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Network Engineer to join our team at LMI Consulting, LLC. As a Logistics Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting a DOD program by planning and implementing operational network services and systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement operational network services and systems, including hardware and virtual environments.
  • Work as part of a team with other contractors, government civilians, and military personnel in an agile environment.
  • Document system requirements, including network protocols such as TCP/IP, Dynamic Host Configuration, Domain Name System (DNS), and directory services.
  • Develop and implement network security practices, including configuring and optimizing network hubs, routers, and switches.
  • Interact professionally with clients and internal teams, gathering requirements and documenting work in a ticketing system.
Requirements:
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • 5+ years of network administration experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with DoD systems, preferably with Dept. of Navy, Dept. of Air Force, or DLA systems.
  • Experience in communication methods, principles, and concepts that support the network infrastructure.
  • Experience operating network equipment, including hubs, routers, switches, bridges, servers, transmission media, and related hardware.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution.
  • Personnel certifications: CEH or CFR or Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC.
