About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled IAM Release Manager to join our team at Hexaware Technologies. As a key member of our software delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the complete software delivery lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to deployment and post-release support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the release schedule, coordinating with various teams to ensure alignment with project timelines and business goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all release-related activities, ensuring clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, including developers, testers, IT operations, and program leadership.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with releases, ensuring that potential issues are addressed proactively.
  • Ensure that all releases meet quality standards by coordinating testing efforts and validating that all requirements are met before deployment.
  • Oversee the deployment process, ensuring that releases are deployed smoothly and efficiently with minimal disruption to production environments.
  • Monitor releases post-deployment, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring that they are resolved promptly.
  • Continuously improve the release management process by implementing best practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical project experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in release management or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Patching practices.
  • Experience with IAM tools like Ping and Sail Point Identity Security Cloud (ISC) / IIQ tools.
  • Experience with Agile tools (for example JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Desired Skills
  • Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) area.
  • SAFe Agile Experience and/or Certification.
  • Experience with release management tools and automation.
  • ITIL Practitioner Certification and ITIL Foundations Certification.
