Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Anesthesia Professional to join our team at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality anesthesia services to patients undergoing various surgical and diagnostic procedures.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of full-time experience as a hands-on practicing CRNA in the last three years. You will be responsible for administering anesthesia by inhalation, endotracheal intubation, intravenous, hypobaric and hyperbaric subarachnoid block, epidural, and various regional techniques. Your expertise will include evaluating patient's physical and mental status with respect to anesthesia, determining appropriate techniques, drugs, and equipment for use in the administration of anesthesia, and chart reviews, pre and postoperative evaluations and consents, training, and attending medical staff meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide anesthesia services to authorized beneficiaries of any age per AR 40-3, AR 40-50
  • Perform all tasks in this contract independently
  • Evaluate patient's physical and mental status with respect to anesthesia
  • Determine appropriate techniques, drugs, and equipment for use in the administration of anesthesia
  • Administer anesthesia by inhalation, endotracheal intubation, intravenous, hypobaric and hyperbaric subarachnoid block, epidural, and various regional techniques

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or Doctor of Nursing Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) degree and possess certifications such as CRNA from AANA, BLS, ALS, PALS, BNDD, and NRP from NHA. You must also be a U.S. Citizen and have a Missouri CRNA license.

Benefits:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a competitive salary ranging from $180,000 to $220,000 depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you will receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. On-call services are required, but you will have rotational shifts and one weekend call per month.
