Job Summary

Care Choice of Boerne is seeking a skilled Dietary Aide/Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dietary Aide/Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by preparing and serving meals in a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents in accordance with approved menus and recipes
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the dietary area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Restock food and supplies as needed
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors
  • Participate in in-service programs and training sessions as scheduled
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in dietary services preferred but not essential
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions
  • Knowledge of quality food preparation and food service
  • Ability to work well under supervision and as part of a team
Working Conditions

The Dietary Aide/Dishwasher will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting, as well as the ability to work in a hot kitchen environment. The Dietary Aide/Dishwasher must be able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a team environment.
