Job Summary

Care Choice of Boerne is seeking a skilled Dietary Aide/Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dietary Aide/Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by preparing and serving meals in a clean and sanitary environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals according to approved menus and recipes
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the dietary area
  • Assist with food preparation, including cooking, baking, and plating
  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Restock supplies and maintain inventory
  • Communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in dietary services preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Working Conditions

The Dietary Aide/Dishwasher will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting, bending, and pushing/pulling heavy objects. The worker may be exposed to communicable diseases and/or body fluids, medical preparations, toxic substances, and occasionally ionizing radiation.
