Role Purpose
We are looking for qualified candidates to fill the role of First Officer for our corporate Hawker 800XP aircraft based in Miami, FL. The aircraft will operate under 14 CFR Part 91, with an estimated flight time of approximately 360 hours annually. The flight crew will consist of one Pilot in Command (PIC), one Second in Command (SIC), and a dedicated maintenance technician, alongside a part-time pilot contractor to assist with scheduling and time off.
The Pilot in Command (PIC) is ultimately responsible for ensuring the aircraft is operated safely, in compliance with regulations, and efficiently while providing an outstanding service experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe operation of the aircraft.
- Conduct flights in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to the following:
- Review the aircraft's maintenance status.
- Perform a thorough pre-flight inspection in line with the approved Aircraft Flight Manual.
- Evaluate weather conditions and facilities along the planned route and at intended airports, including alternates.
- Comply with Eastern Airlines' policies and applicable Federal Aviation Regulations during flight operations.
- Safeguard the well-being of all passengers, crew, and the aircraft.
- Accurately complete all trip documentation in accordance with current procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with HS-125 Type Rating.
- Completion of Simulator Training within the last 24 months (CAE or Flight Safety).
- Maintain an FAA First Class Medical certification.
- Minimum total flight hours required.
- Minimum PIC flight hours required.
- Minimum of 500 hours as Multi-Engine PIC.
- Minimum of 100 hours in Turbine aircraft.
- At least 250 hours in type (Hawker 800XP).
- Valid passport required.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Successful completion of drug and alcohol background checks, pre-employment DOT drug tests, and criminal history records check (CHRC).
