Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Host/Cashier to join our team at Boyd Gaming. As a Host/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner, arrange for seating, and monitor room atmosphere.
  • Information Provision: Provide guests with information on all aspects of Boyd Gaming's services and facilities.
  • Waiting List Management: Quote accurate waiting times and handle guest waiting lists or reservations in accordance with established procedures.
  • Cash Handling: Open register, prepare and complete all paperwork for assigned outlet in an organized manner.
  • Customer Interaction: Answer inquiries, complete sales transactions, and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with guests.
  • Telephone Etiquette: Demonstrated proper telephone etiquette.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrated ability to operate electronic reservation system and flow charts.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic mathematical skills.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must be able to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
