Position Summary
The Facility Cleaning Specialist is responsible for executing cleaning tasks as specified in the service agreement with our clients. This role involves reporting any issues or unusual occurrences to the designated supervisor or manager. The specialist will also be required to operate a scissor lift for elevated cleaning tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispose of trash and recycling materials.
- Dust, wipe, and perform spot cleaning on all surfaces.
- Vacuum, mop, and wet mop assigned areas.
- Thoroughly clean restrooms using disinfectants and appropriate cleaning agents, restock supplies as necessary, remove waste, clean fixtures, mirrors, and dispensers, and sweep or wet mop floors.
- Ensure all lights are switched on/off and that doors are secured when exiting an area.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage closets.
- Utilize a scissor lift for overhead cleaning tasks.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred. Reliable transportation is essential for consistent attendance. Candidates must be able to fulfill the physical demands of the role. A successful background check and drug screening are required in accordance with contractual obligations.
