Northland is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for completing maintenance service requests and work orders, including but not limited to:

  • Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) maintenance
  • Electrical repairs and maintenance
  • Pools and pool equipment maintenance
  • Plumbing repairs and maintenance
  • Carpentry and woodworking
  • Painting and finishing
  • Housekeeping and cleaning

This role will also involve completing apartments turnovers for scheduled move-ins in a timely and efficient manner, while working safely and effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Complete maintenance service requests and work orders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs
  • Conduct apartments turnovers for scheduled move-ins, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail
  • Work collaboratively with staff, residents, and vendors to ensure a positive and professional experience
  • Handle after-hours emergency calls and be on-call as needed, including nights and weekends
Requirements
  • Previous experience in general maintenance, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and painting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, and vendors
  • Ability to work nights and weekend shifts as part of the on-call responsibility
