The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer, Lead to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing reliability engineering solutions to support the sustainment of weapon systems.

As a leader in reliability engineering, you will have the opportunity to work on complex challenges and contribute to the development of innovative engineering methods and procedures. Your expertise in reliability analysis, including root cause and corrective action, Weibull, life data analysis, fault tree analysis, and risk identification, will be essential in ensuring the reliability and availability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct reliability analyses, including root cause and corrective action, Weibull, life data analysis, fault tree analysis, and risk identification
  • Develop and implement reliability engineering solutions to support the sustainment of weapon systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks to business operations
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including reports and presentations
  • Travel up to 33% of the time CONUS
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience with systems engineering
  • Experience with reliability engineering supporting and sustainment of weapon systems
  • Experience with conducting reliability analyses, including root cause and corrective action, Weibull, life data analysis, fault tree analysis, and risk identification
  • Experience with using Relia soft, Python, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with venues where high system reliability and availability, including nuclear and space
  • Knowledge of Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), including system, sub-system, functional component, and device level
  • Ability to develop clear working-level documents and management presentations and present them to the senior management team
  • Ability to travel up to 33% of the time CONUS
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Possession of excellent problem-solving and organizational skills

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220, annualized USD.
