As a Registered Nurse in our Medical Surgical department, you will utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care. You will maintain professional accountability for the provision of patient care and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. You will also coordinate patient care with other departments and maintain patient rights and confidentiality.

- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality and perform duties in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of hire and/or compact licensure.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. Additional certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
